Once upon a time, there was a boy around his early twenties. His name was Mark. He was still studying in University and working part time as a waiter. One day as he was driving home, he got hit by a drunk driver. After being hit by the drunk driver, an ambulance came right away to send him to the hospital. He went to the ER and the doctors were unable to save him. Mark's soul came out of his body and he met an old man dressed in white clothing. Mark asked the old man to identify himself. The old man told Mark that he was God and to follow him. At first, Mark couldn't believe it but soon realized it was true after the old man took him to heaven. After reaching heaven, the old man told Mark that he can choose to live in heaven or to live in hell but before making that decision he was allowed to live in each place for one day.
Mark spent his first day in hell. On the first day, he was greeted by everyone. Everyone in hell was friendly and they were just playing and enjoying. There were people playing videos games and Mark joined them for a while and talked to them. They were all telling him that hell was a great place and super fun. After that, Mark played some basketball with some other people and they told him the same thing. The day flew by so fast. Mark just ended up spending his day in hell playing video games, sports and watching shows. It was one of the most relaxing days he's had in a long time. It was like he was a kid again.
After the first day in hell was over, Mark spent his second day in heaven. Mark was surprised that heaven was really quiet. People there were just sleeping or reading books. There didn't seem like there was much to do in heaven. There was a girl sitting and reading a book by herself. Mark walked up to her and asked her why she liked heaven. The girl told him that it was better than hell and that's all she would say. Mark ended up spending his day in heaven just sleeping.
The moment of truth came. The old man came to Mark and asked him where did he want to stay, heaven or hell. After pondering his thoughts at night in heaven, he decided that he would live in hell. The old man was disappointed in Mark and told him that he made a huge mistake. As Mark requested, the old man sent him to hell. When Mark arrived, he was surprised. Everyone there was doing hard labor carrying things and getting whipped. He asked them what happened to the all the games. They told him that it was a trick to get him to join hell and it worked.
The morale of the story actually has nothing to do with heaven or hell. It has more to do with knowing the true nature of something but choosing to ignore it thus leaving a bad ending.
